Clay classes for adults
This is your opportunity to create something from clay and colour with glaze. Bowls, pots, tea light holders, sculptures – anything that catches your imagination. I'll be guiding you along the design process and teaching you how to work the clay. Your work of art is then fired, ready for you to colour with glaze. The classes are informal, great creative therapy and lots of fun!
We are excited to be able to now offer throwing on a pottery wheel as part of our regular workshops.
Classes are held once a week for 5 or 6 weeks.
All classes are two and a half hours long and cost £23 per class.
The classes are paid upfront for the block of 5 or 6 weeks, costing £115 or £138 for the block.
Classes are available on Tuesday morning 10am- 12.30pm and Wednesday morning 9.30 -12pm and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evening 6.30 - 9pm.
Our next Block begins in the week beg Mon 3rd Nov 2025 and is a 6 week block.
Clay: There is a cost for clay and can be bought from me. The cost is £8.50 for half a bag or £17 for a full bag. If you are bringing your own clay, please bring stoneware clay.
There is a small cost for firing which is £2 per fired kilo weight.
Glazing is an extra charge - £3.50 small item, £5.50 medium item, £7.50 large item.

Taster Workshops For Adults
Don't want to book for a block? Come to a taster session. The taster session is broken down into 2 parts. The first part is a two hour making workshop where you will learn to create a piece under our guidance. This will then be dried and fried. The second session is where you will return to paint your fired piece with specialised glazes for ceramics. Your piece will then be fired for a second time. The cost is £25 per session per person.
Please be aware that to complete a piece you will need to book two sessions. The first session is for making and the second is to glaze your fired piece.

Family and Friends Clay Workshops
Get creative with family and friends! This is a personal clay workshop experience for up to 6 family and friends aged 6 years and above. You will get to create your own unique clay sculpture under my tuition in the 1st workshop. These will then be fired, ready for you to colour glaze in the 2nd workshop. The finished pieces will then be fired one final time.
Please be aware we do not offer children's parties. We only accept children with adults working alongside them as part of the friends and family package.
Workshops need to be booked in advance. The cost is £75 for up to 3 people, then £25 per person up to 6 people maximum for the two hour making session, and the same costs for the 90 minute glazing session.
If you book and pay for both sessions at the same time, there will be a discount of 20% off the second session.
